  • Students Requesting Honors class placement must meet the criteria given in the Honors Policies and Prerequisites (see website:  Honors Policies and Prerequisites).

Dual Credit and Enrollment Classes:

In order to take a dual-credit class at Heritage, seniors must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a 3.0 GPA

  • Have the recommendation of the Heritage Academy teacher that taught the previous course in the same subject area.

  • Have recommendation from the guidance counselor.

  • Seniors must be enrolled in at least 5 classes at all times during their senior year.
  • Students must meet any additional stipulations made by area universities/colleges (e.g., MUW and EMCC requires a 19 on the Math portion of the ACT in order to take College Algebra, and 17 on the English portion of the ACT in order to take English Composition).
