Power School Parent Portal

Please Note: If you already have a Parent Account - do NOT create a new account - just add any siblings to the existing account with the codes listed in this letter.

We encourage you to use Power School Parent Portal and/or Power School Mobile App to track academic progress and access your children's current grades and attendance. The information below will help you create an account to access this information. 

How to Create a Parent Account in Power School 

In a Web Browser, go to http://heritageacademy.powerschool.com/public
Click the Create Account tab. The Create Account page appears and enter requested information.

You can obtain the confidential ID and codes for your student from the school.

**Password Setup:  Create a password with the password complexity rules below: 

New password must be at least 8 characters long.
New password must contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter.
New password must contain at least one letter and one number.
New password must contain at least one special character ( $, #, *, !, etc.).

You can add all of your students to one parent account for ease and convenience. You will be able to track academic progress from any location that has internet access. Please keep your passwords confidential so only you can access the information. Students have their own access codes and will not need to access Power School with your parent account. 

The Grades and Attendance tab will allow you to check assignments and scores by clicking on the blue percentage across from a class. To email the teacher a question or concern, please click the blue teacher's name link. The Grades History tab will show you the grades your child received in previous grading periods. The Teacher Comments tab is used to access current teacher comments for your student. The Power Announcement tab is where you will view your contact information that is currently in Power School. Please contact the school to update this important information if it is not current.

Power School Mobile App

There is also an outstanding iOS and Android app you can use on your smartphone, iPad, or tablet. You will login with the same user name and password you setup on the parent portal. During the initial setup it will ask you for a district code. Our district code is HWCF.
