Cooke College Scholarship Program; undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. 

Great Value Colleges Community Service Scholarship; Students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and 40 hours of community service under their belt are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which also requires two letters of recommendation and an essay. Deadline: November 15

Advancement of Women in Sports and Entertainment Scholarship; Scholarships for women pursuing a degree in Communication Studies, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies or Journalism. Deadline: November 17

Lamber-Goodnow Injury Law Team College Scholarship; Have a minimum 2.8 GPA and submit a 500- to 750-word essay to qualify for this award. The essay should detail how you are driven to innovate, how you plan to influence progress on any level in any space or how you have already affected positive change with creative thinking. Deadline: December 1

Military Child of the Year Award; The Military Child of the Year Award recognizes outstanding military children who demonstrate resiliency, leadership, and achievement in their communities. Deadline: December 9

Houzz Scholarship Program; Scholarships for students enrolled in architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture programs at the undergraduate or graduate level. Deadline: December 15

James W. McLamore WHOPPER Scholarship Program; scholarships for students who demonstrate an active leadership role in community service, athletics, etc. Deadline: December 15

Ron Brown Scholar Program; honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans. Deadline: January 9

Purpose Challenge; Students must submit essay and have the option to use tools to help discover their purpose in life as they pursue their education. Deadline: February 1

John F. and Anna Lee Stacey Scholarship Fund; Scholarships for students who practice classical/traditional art in the mediums of painting, drawing from figure, landscape, and composition. Deadline: February 1

Richard and Elizabeth Dean Scholarship; Scholarships based on academic merit, with an initial minimum GPA of 4.0 and renewal conditional upon maintenance of a 3.25 GPA. Deadline: February 15

Jesse Brown Memorial Youth Scholarship; Scholarship for young volunteers who have dedicated 100+ hours to serving veterans. Deadline: February 28

“Inspire Our Future” Scholarship; Scholarships for students studying to become a teacher, or pursuing a career in direct student education. Deadline: April 1

BHW Scholarship; Scholarships for women who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in STEM. Deadline: April 15

Carrington-Philbert Scholarship; A one-time scholarship for entering African American U.S. college freshmen. Applicants may be attending a community college or 4-year college. Deadline; May 1

Young Farmers Scholarship Foundation; Must attend a Mississippi college or university; show need for financial assistance, academic ability, and leadership qualities; Must be pursuing an agriculture related major Deadline: June 1
