CANVAS by INSTRUCTURE
The Canvas Learning Management Platform allows Heritage (Grades 3-12) to build the digital learning environment that meets any unique challenges. Canvas simplifies teaching, elevates learning and eliminates the headaches of supporting and growing traditional learning technologies. Canvas streamlines all the digital tools and content that teachers and students love, for a simpler and more connected learning experience. Canvas LMS elevates our 1:1 iPad program to the next level.
Heritage students in grades 3-12 will login to Canvas with their HA email address and password.

Heritage Academy Canvas can be accessed two ways: Internet Browser or App
Accessing Canvas with an Internet BROWSER
Heritage Academy Canvas Site: - https://heritagepatriots.instructure.com/
- It may take you to a Google Gmail Sign In Page
- If so, log in with your Heritage Email and Password
- Allow Canvas to sync with Email
- Then you will see your Canvas Dashboard with all your courses
- Select a course - go to Modules to see Assignments and Information
IPAD / SMARTPHONE APP
- Download the Canvas Student app on your iPad or smartphone
- Once downloaded, open the app
- It may ask you for your school, type Heritage Academy in the search field and select it as your school
- Enter username and password (this will be your Heritage email and password)
- Canvas Dashboard will all your courses
- Select a course - go to Modules to see Assignments and Information
