HA Seniors Make Wish Come True - it was a magical time at the high school assembly today as the Class of 2019 concluded their Senior Leadership project by granting young Ethan Marsh’s wish for a trip to Disney World! It began with Ethan’s arrival by limo from his home in New Hope and he was greeted by the Seniors who were waving signs and cheering him on.
The gym was decorated with all things Disney and our seniors talked about the year they have spent raising money for Make-a-Wish and getting to know Ethan. A slide show told the story well. Make-a-Wish’s Rod Henderson was on hand to thank our Seniors and unveiled a “check” for $20,000 that indicated the total raised. Special gifts for Ethan were given to him for his trip and the assembly ended with a beautiful performance of “A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes” by a beautiful princess and handsome prince.
Congratulations to the Class of 2019 and their sponsors on their awesome execution of their Service Project. The best part is the friendship made with the Marsh family.
