High School
High school classes are taught at the college preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement levels, providing academic opportunities for all students based on their abilities and interests. A Heritage Academy student learns to develop intellectual skills in a consistent and responsible manner. Striving for excellence in academic work is expected of all students.
While academic opportunities abound, Heritage Academy realizes that there is much more to education than time spent in the classroom. A star math student may also be the captain of the softball team, a starting member of the football team may also be involved in Lowndes Young Leaders, and the editor of the school newspaper may also be a manager for a sports team. There truly is something for everyone.
Heritage Academy understands the importance of preparing students to be contributors to their local communities and to their global community. Working collaboratively with parents ensures that their children will go on to live happy, successful, productive lives in the 21st century.
