The Seventh Grade Mathematics course covers more advanced computations with rational numbers and introduces exponents. Algebraic topics and the formation of generalizations are stressed in preparation for Pre-Algebra. Technology is an important component of instruction. Students are given opportunities to work together collaboratively and cooperatively when solving routine and non-routine problems.
