Latin II
Course Description
The Latin II course introduces students to the vocabulary, grammar, and syntax which will enable them to read Latin passages based on the culture, history, and mythology of the classical world. Students follow the life of a Roman family of the early empire. The influence of Latin on the English and Romance language and of Roman traditions on American law, government, literature, and culture is also addressed.
