This introductory Psychology course is designed to introduce students to the scientific study of the behavior and mental processes of human beings and other animals. Students will be exposed to the psychological facts and principles associated with several major subfields within Psychology including: the six primary psychological theories, consciousness, personality development, mental health disorders, substance abuse and sociocultural psychology.
