Elementary Art is…
Helping the students get familiar with the influence of Art on the world.
Instruction will be given on the various media used to produce works of art; including pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, collage,and ceramics.
Emphasis will be placed on Art History and the influence of art on culture, as well as the culture’s influence on the artist. Through visual aids and the use of today’s technology we will explore the world through the eyes of the artist
Graphic Art instruction will be given by use of technology and traditional media in order to help students become more proficient at their project presentations in other subject areas.
