National Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society

Heritage Academy is proud to offer students the opportunity to be recognized for their outstanding academic achievements. National Junior Society membership is offered to students in grades eight through nine. National Honor Society membership is offered to students who are sophomores, juniors, and seniors. In addition to scholarship, students in these organizations must also exemplify the characteristics of leadership, service, and good character. Members participate in various projects both in service to our community and to our school. Membership entitles students to participate in national scholarship competitions, to include this honor on college applications and personal resumes, and to be recognized at graduation by wearing the NHS stole. Induction into these honor societies takes place annually.
