RECORDER CLASS

A recorder class will be offered to our 5th & 6th graders. Kelli Wallace will teach the class. Each class will meet once a week. We hope this will encourage children to look at the possibility of continuing on in our band program.

H1N1 UPDATE

With the threat of the H1N1 flu, on the back side this newsletter you will find information from the CDC about actions parents and students may take at home and what to do if their child becomes sick.

BOY SCOUTS

On Sept 9th, Curtis Hollingsworth will be meeting with the elementary boys interested in joining the scouts. There will be a meeting on Sept 10th in the SAB @ 6 o’clock for the boys interested in signing up.

PRAYER WALK

Please come pray for your students and teachers at Heritage. This will be a quiet time of individual prayer in the classrooms, hallways, playground, & etc, for you to have the opportunity to pray for the well being of your children, teachers, & school. You may come for 5 minutes or stay the whole hour. This is a very important event at Heritage and we would love to have 100% participation this year. Please prayerfully consider joining us.

DROP OFF & PICK UP

Please remember not to enter the front entrance by cutting in line when turning left in front of the school. When people cut in front of cars entering the school from 7th street onto Willowbook, this makes the ones that have been waiting patiently, very upset.

PTA DIRECTORY

Our new directory is in the process of being edited. Please let us know of any changes that might have occurred on phone numbers, home addresses, or email addresses. You may notify us of the changes by going to our Heritage website to make the changes at the PTA link. Please let us know ASAP at pta@heritagepatriots.com before our new directory is printed!
