Young 4th grade scientists joined Mrs. Vocca’s 10th grade Biology students to learn more about the digestive system. The 4th graders in Mrs. Jenkins’ and Mrs. Naugher’s science classes  culminated a study of the Human Body Systems by designing t-shirts that illustrated one of the body systems. Wearing their “body” shirts, fourth graders observed as the high school students dissected pigs in their lab groups, identifying and labeling the parts of the pigs’ digestive systems.
